There's never a better time to give guitar a go! This price will not stick around for long ($15.00 a lesson), and if you plan on picking it up, just 15 minutes a day of practice will send you flying to the top of campfires, soaring to the head of open mics, racing to the front of family dinners. So, if you live in Albuquerque, call Jacob at 505 - 720 - 7959. Thanks

Hello!
My name is Jacob and I am a guitar instructor. I have been working with students professionally since the age of 18. I believe the key to my students success is passion: uncovering it, fueling it, and disciplining it. I say: a healthy balance of hard work and fun play keeps the boredom at bay. So if you or your family is interested in guitar lessons

Sound Science
What is Sound?
OK, so I talk about music a lot, but what is sound in the first place? Sound is a type of vibration that travels through a medium, such as air or water. Like a stone tossed into a pond, waves are created as particles bump into eachother from the source. Our eardrums then pick up that sound, carefully sending them through our middle ear bones, or ossicles, into a the snail shaped inner ear. In the inner ear, sound is picked up by the cochlea. These are tiny hair cells that translate the vibrations into electrical signals for the brain. Interesting stuff!
This is an excellent interactive diagram if you're interested !
